Whether ordering five or 500,000 pounds, your ingredient needs are met through our comprehensive warehouse/inventory department supported by an extensive network of suppliers. In addition, we provide the service, expertise, and consistency in seasoning notes, flavor profiles, and flavor systems to become your personal blending room.

Green Initiatives
In addition to the use of solar energy for production, Carolina Ingredients has incorporated many different green initiatives to not only add value for our customers, but to do so in an environmentally responsible manner. These initiatives include the use of recycled paper for business cards and stationary, an in-office recycling program, designated hybrid parking and timers on the lights in our office space to reduce the usage of unnecessary electricity.
The solar energy system at Carolina Ingredients includes a roof-mounted photovoltaic system with 6 solar power units, each producing approximately 3,000 kilowatts of electrical energy on an average sunny day. 38 solar tubes throughout the warehouse, production and office provide natural light throughout 90% of the regular office living space.
Our decision to use solar energy was based on our desire to be a value-added leader in our industry, to embrace alternative energy sources, and to differentiate ourselves from our competitors while striving to be an environmentally responsible manufacturer. The use of solar energy will decrease Carolina Ingredients’ carbon footprint by more than 23 tons of carbon dioxide annually, which is the equivalent of taking 6 cars off the road for one year.
