Doug Meyer-Cuno started Carolina Ingredients in July of 1990 with the vision of creating a customer service driven and value added distribution company. Being in business for almost two decades, it is the relationships that Carolina Ingredient’s has developed with its customers that have allowed the company to consistently grow and now includes custom blending services. While Doug has been actively involved in managing the sales department, he now dedicates the majority of his time to the company's vision. This vision includes an expansion into a new building to be completed in December 2009 and the continued commitment to quality and value Doug has for his customers. In his spare time Doug participates in sprint triathlons, is involved with his church, and is the proud father of two daughters.
Richard Dawes

Rick joined the Carolina Ingredients family after more than 28 of working in the food manufacturing industry. He currently commutes to Charlotte from Joplin, MO where his family lives. When the weather is right, Rick loves to go boating and enjoys all water activities. On the weekends, when Rick is in Rock Hill, he enjoys going to car shows and cruise nights.

Lisa moved to the Charlotte area from Southern California in Aug. of 2008. She recently purchased her first home with her husband, who is a high school teacher. On the weekends Lisa enjoies seeing the diversity of the Carolinas and the central Piedmont area. She likes to take her dog on long hikes and lay by the pool durring the summer months. Lisa says the best part of her job is the positive atomosphere at Carolina Ingredients.

Allen has been a welcome addition to our Sales Team. He has 37 years experience working in various spice and seasoning companies and brings a tremendous amount of knowlege to our organization. He and his wife, Mary Esther have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. In his spare time Al is an avid college sports fan and is a tennis player.

Mike graduated from Clemson University with a B.S. in Animal Science and a Minor in Meat and Dairy Foods. Mike has five years experience as a manager in commercial food processing facilities (Poultry & Pork). Now we have the pleasure of working with him since he joined our team at Carolina Ingredients, Inc. in December 2003.

Felisha was born and raised in York, SC, but is currently a resident of Fort Mill, SC. She attended South Carolina State University on a dual scholarship for Academics and Athletics (softball). Upon graduation Felisha earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education. She joined our team in Nov. of 2009, just as Carolina Ingredients was relocating to our new location in Rock Hill, SC. When not in the office, Felisha enjoys playing basketball and of course softball. She loves to spend her time traveling near and far with family and friends.

Sue joined the Carolina Ingredients team in 2007 and brings over 20 years of research and development experience in the food industry. Sue has a passion for formulating and her vast industry knowledge is a welcome addition to our ever growing staff.

Terry joined Carolina Ingredients in February 2008. She has an Associate’s Degree in Science and 3 years experience in R&D. Terry makes samples, acquires paperwork for ingredients, flavor testing, as well as packing & shipping of products. Terry is the mother of two.

Ben joined our team in Dec. of 2009 as a Blender. He graduated from Gaffney High School in Gaffney, SC before moving to the Greater Charlotte Area in 2005. When not working hard in the blending facility, Ben enjoys fishing and playing football with his son. Ben is also an advid weight lifter.

Javarus is a native of South Carolina, growing up in Indian Land and moving to Rock Hill in 2000. On a daily basis Javarus is responsible for insuring all of Carolina Ingredients blended spice mixes are are properly produced, packaged and shipped. In his time away from the office, he enjoys playing basketball and softball with his 2 young children. Javarus also enjoys spending quality time with his mother.

Jeremy is a native of the Charlotte area and comes from a large family. When Jeremy is free from his responsibilities at Carolina Ingredients he enjoys fishing and going shopping. Jeremy received an AA in Graphic Design before joining our team in December of 09.

Brad came to Carolina Ingredients possessing 20 years of inventory control and leadership experience. He also has 15 years of warehousing experience. Brad oversees daily warehouse, distribution, and inventory control operations.
Charles Gill

After moving to the Charlotte area from Bridgeport, CT, Charles joined our team in December of 09. When not working hard in the Carolina Ingredients warehouse, Charles enjoys listening to old school R & B music, playing basketball and working with his hands. In Bridgeport Charles obtained his technical certification as a welder. Charles says that his favorite part of working at Carolina Ingredients is the family atmosphere.
Jerome Green

Jerome has been part of our warehouse team for almost 3 years. He is a former truck driver and is in our shipping and receiving department. Melvin joined the Carolina Ingredients team as we transitioned into the new facitiy in 2009. His extensive knowledge of the plant and his training in Electricity/Electronics make Melvin one of Carolina Ingredients most valuable team members. When Melvin is getting his hands dirty at work he's studying A+, Net+ and MSCDT. In his free time Melvin enjoys fishing, being active with his church and spending time with his 5 adult children and his 11 wonderful grandchildren.
