A “Foodie” by heart with a creative passion and strong desire to add value.
Born and raised in central New Jersey. A graduate from Johnson & Wales University, Providence, RI, with a minor in Culinary Arts and a bachelor’s in food marketing. I have always found myself with a passion for food at a very young age. I began my career as a corporate chef at a Food Brokerage company based in Long Island, NY. This was for the foodservice channel focusing on hospitals, hotels, restaurants, and B&I accounts. In 2009, I made the move to the ingredients field and have never turned back. Working with food manufacturers and seeing what R&D folks are working on next, is exciting to me. I love seeing the end product on the shelves and knowing that I helped with the formulation.
Core Culture
While I do have a passion to create value, my top core culture is Innovation Solutions to solving problems. I get excited to work with folks in product development to help solve their challenges. It makes me feel good inside when I can solve their challenges and pain points.
Personal
I have been married to my wife for 19 years and next year will be my 20th anniversary. I have a teenage daughter in high school who is now looking at colleges. I also have a stepdaughter that has been on her own for 10 years and lives in NYC. I have a great passion for food and always will. I really just love good food and will go out of my way to find that next great meal.
Favorite Seasoning Blend
I make my own seasoning blends at home and use on a daily basis but my all-time favorite is my own taco seasoning. I have been using the same recipe for many years and have never veered from. There are two unique ingredients used, that makes it taste so good. This seasoning can be used with chicken, beef or pork.
